on perfumes
i want a perfume that smells like pine bark mulch
(sometimes i carry around a nugget in my back pocket for the joy of it.)
and one that smells like earl grey tea for weekends.
friend participates in 6 x 6 exhibit
My friend Pat participated in this fun exhibit in Rochester NY. Wouldn't it be great fun to have one of these in a gallery near us?
collaboration moving forward
Despite the fact that I dropped one of the heads that my friend Jean created, and she shattered into pieces (imagine me crawling on the studio floor muttering I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!) we think she will be fine and perhaps it was for the best. Everyone needs a crack to peek through sometimes.
Here is the head I cracked (sans crack). Isn't Jean's work lovely?
Jean and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the artist Lee Bonticou, (another odd connection between the two of us) and this head is made with her as inspiration. She will go on the yoga posed body in the previous post below. Once closer to finish I will post her newly reassembled self.
